My Reflection on I Origins

I have just finished watching the movie I origins and I have to say that I’ve found it profound in some sense. The idea that the “soul” can transcend and be a part of another beings existence is quite interesting. To think that the eyes carry a whole univerise inside of them for they look so beautiful and full of life. They’re capable of seeing and expressing. However, naturally this idea is comforting in some sense to a person who has lost a loved one. To know that their memories haven’t just “vanished” and are now a part of a new entity to some extent.

But, while it is a wonderful idea, I don’t incline towards this notion since I have never experienced any such thing. I think If i or anyone else found out this to be true then it would be an incredible feeling. But, it seems like yet another human invention in a desperate attempt to make meaning.

I heard this quote recently “We are the universe trying to learn about itself”. I was left in complete awe and experience an undescribable feeling. I think there is something quite meanigful about our existence even if we haven’t been created by the conventional “God” so many of us hope to be made by. I think that there is something incredibly beautiful to live in a universe where you can explore, love, fear, and do some many other things and then one day come towards the end of your journey.
